Used to be able to copy DVD movies with DVD shrink and PocketDivX. Can't do it anymore-computer was recently reinstated to "factory settings" after crashing. Tried RipIt4Me with DVD Shrink and PocketDivX. Got all the audios, but the video is a kalidescope of color when opened with Windows Media Player or Dell Media Player. What can I do? All suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Have you viewed the output from DVD Shrink before using PocketDivx? I would suspect your last step is what is creating the problem...might try a similar program such and see if you get the same results.

When viewing divx or avi files, the kaleidoscope effect is usually a sign of improper of insufficient codecs. Have you reinstalled your codec package, i.e. KLM or Matroska?
