I captured some homemade video files from VHS using sonic MyDvd software. I captured in MPEG2(NTSC) format. The file size is 8GB. Now i want to put that on one DVD.
    how do i do that?

I thought of uing DVDlab and get the VOB files. Than use DVDShrink to shrink to 4.7GB. But when i author in DVDLab and try to output the files, it is just dying. Probably it cannot handle files with more than 4.7 GB.

Is there any other authoring software that can do this? Or if there is another way to do it please let me know.

You could try the pro beta of DVD Lab. it's supposed to be double layer ready, so it should handle your 8 gig file. You could always just author the first half to one folder, the second half to another, and then use Shrink to join and then compress your project.
