i know that once subs and avi are joined theres usually nothing i can do to remove subs from the avi video,looked through your forum and im just wondering if anything new has popped up e.g a new program?? what it is im converting anime movies to dpg file for the Nintendo ds moonshell,but using an avi with encodded subs the subtitles are only just readable,unless there are seperate subs when added to Batchdpg program which are readable (bigger)when converted any help cheers,
The picture behind the subtitles is gone, you can't get it back and whilst there are filters to try and remove them, you will basically end up with a blurry mess. Think how much work it would be in photoshop just to remove the subs from one frame. Putting larger subs over the top shouldn't be so much of an issue though. Best bet would be to grab the raw though, if available.
