hi, ive got some video files that seem to be .AVI format.
I can watch them alright but i cant burn them with nero, when i try to it says that the specified path is unavailable, something like that, also when i try to burn it with WinAVI and ConvertXtoDVD it does the same thing???..

What could i do ? how can i burn these onto a disc as just data??

I guess try moving them to a simpler path. Also check if there are any handles open to them (use Process Explorer).

try redownloading the file(s) or reinstalling nero and winavi converter.

Did you try checking the handles? Also the desktop isn't really a simply path.
    x:\documents and settings\[USERNAME]\Desktop
Still I never had any problems burning files from it.
