AVI DVD - Jumps During Film

    I have got a *.avi film and have converted it to DVD format, using Winavi. However once burned to dvd, it plays fine in the dvd player, but skips / jumps occasionally?

    What causes this, and how can i sort this?

    Just to add to that...

    my media / dvd drive have been perfect in that past whe burning dvds, its just the avi conversions ive had problems with!

    You need to understand the differences between framerate (FPS), aspect ratio, PAL/NTSC, bitrate, etc.
