    hi
    can anyone help?
i have tried converting avi to dvd using both of the above & i keep getting the same faultswith both programmes on playback. There seems to be a slight pause as the movies move from frame to frame, as if it is in slow motion.
This fault is really annoying as the film does quite flow properly.I hope someone has the answer.

What you are Describeing can be Caused From a Whole Much of Things...

Like encodeing the Source File useing a Different Frame rate will cause this...

Encodeing the File useing the Wrong Field order can cause this...

Burning at too high of a speed Can cause this ...

Your DVD authoring program might be useing the wrong Mux rate which would Cause this...

Pluss there are a hand full of other Possible reasons for this....

I suspect it might be that your Source File has a Frame Rate of 23.976fps and you are encodeing Straight to 29.976fps when you Should be encodeing to 23.976fps with 2:3 Pulldown...
