AVI - VCD/SVCD

    Hey all.

    I have tried this in a few programs - my fav so far is cucusoft avi - converter.

    When i convert i get great video quality but the sound is delayed!!!

    Please help someone - i feel like im beatin my head off a brick wall.

    do you want a dvd end result or just vcd?

    preferably dvd - but im reallllly new to this, like 3 days experience..so i presume vcd is a more realistic goal.... willin to try anythin tho.

    use divxtodvd it will take your avi (load 2/3 at a time) and make 1 film in vob/bup/ifo for dvd burning!

    its a free app! its good!

    ok i have the video_TS folder created by divxtodvd - do i just open a dvd video burn project in nero or are the .bup image files?

    please advise

    yes use nero on add video and place all files of bup/ifo/bup in the folder nero makes called VIDEO_TS

    although i have a 2part mpg of constantine - how wud i convert using that program?

    ok i opened 2 divxtodvd .exe's and converted both.. i now have 2 video ts folders one for disk 1 one for disk 2 - how do i make that into one dvd. 2 video ts folders on a dvd iso or put all files from both video ts' into one the video ts folder nero makes?

    you seem to have gone the long way round? sorry i didnt clarify i thought you got it the first time?

    you load 1 divxtodvd up and load both files to the 1 app, then it will make both files as 1 dvd film! in 1 foder!

    u lot wudnt happen to know of a p2p program that deals in just dvd covers - or an alternative way of gettin all dvd covers wud ya =)

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i just converted a file and burnt it to dvd
    on 50 mins it jumps and the sound and picture jump out of sync!!!
    WTF!!!!!

    what speed did you burn at?
    What media type are you using?

    nvm - it was a source error - the error on the original translated to the dvd, obviously.....

    note to self: always check source.

    WOOHOO iv found a new problem =)

    i have 2bin files but no cue files. I have played the bin's via vlcplayer and they are awesome - all i need now is a way to mount them onto dvd.
