AVIs back into DVD format

    I have the .AVI file saved. I want to burn it onto a disk for play in my DVD player but am not having any luck. I am pretty ignorant of the ins and outs of all this so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Unless you have a DVD-R -drive you'll probably have little luck getting the AVI back into DVD format. Instead you might want to take a look at VideoCD and SuperVideoCD formats.

    You can easily make (S)VCD compilant videos with TMPGEnc. Check out our articles section at http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/ for more information and guides.

    I am also new to converting AVI files back to DVD, I have a DVD recorder but I'm not having any luck so far - have you solved the problem - please help.
