I have a HP Pavilion PC and i was used to downloading with Utorrent. I recently changed to Azureus and have been encountering loads of problems. Main problem is about 15 minutes into the download, my monitor and keyboard goes off in which case i have to reboot my system. The other thing is Azureus disappears after about 2hrs. Can someone please help?

A couple of stabs in the dark

    Do you have alcohol 120%?
What are your max global connections set to?

Alcohol for you is OK. But sometimes is bad for Azureus.

The global connections may be your problem. This can cause an overload which would lead to your type of problems.

The simple solution is to set max global connections (and per torrent connections) to below 200. You would also have to change this individually for running torrents(right click torrent-show details-options tab)

The good settings page at the azureuswiki will give an idea of how to set based upon a speed test. A good idea to do as this will speed up torrents also.

    http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Good_settings

If you run the speed test and your number do not fit in with their chart, then you could post your average upload number here (in either kbs or kBs) and I could give you the correct settings.

    Hope it works.
