It's freeview on satellite I think (not 100%). But no doubt e45 will be along to tell you how lucky you are to be receiving a crappy server for free while starview charge for their crappy one (at least babytv works on that haha.

Well since you're paying twice for channels on s/v I'd expect every channel to work

True, they're both as crap as each other only one rips your off more then the other with the same end product.

If people pay for it thats their choice/problem.

I think you will find there is no payment required for the Kryp compared to the Starview box.

I was lucky to get a krypt that was only a few weeks old for £100 with nothing else to pay. I bought a DDigital Duo for £95 brand new and they want me to pay at least £25 more to watch the same channels as I watch on the krypt for free. As long as I have to stick with a cable option I know which one that'll be.

Theres is one small payment of 140 odd quid so its not free the boxes are buttons to make its just greed from both krypt £££ > supplier £££ > end user = crappy server

I'm not on no starview bandwagon I'm on the fence andfrom where I'm sitting theyre both crap.

I suggest you stay on the fence m8 and take out a sub as it will be very hard to please you, or go Sat, either way you will have to pay for the box regardless of what way you decide to go, at least with the KV you buy the box end of, Sv you buy the box and you pay subs for the pleasure of viewing, go sat you buy the box you have to pay for a line, Kv is the cheapest option available at the moment.

Add up what it cost for a full sub from your provider, and then split it over the year, that will be your answer then.

TBH most people just want the movies and sports channels, thats where vermin and shy make their money. So while we're getting them its really hard to complain about the KV service I would think!!
