nero 6 refuses to highlight the "burn" icon, no matter what i do, using nero express (copy disc), or normal way. i have backed up stacks of originals but no back ups! please help!

Try dvd decrypter instead. Iso/read, iso/write. Always works for me.

It might seem a stupid question but you are trying to backup a dvd. The decrypt button is not highlight when it doesn't recognise the media or there is no media in the drive.

ok i'll assume your using a backup dvdr game and you want to make a copy of it. On dvd decrypter does the software show your burner.

I just tried to backup one of my backups on maxell dvd-r 4x it works perfectly? I can't understand why this is happening!!! The backup definately works in your ps2. Its a dvd-r. Anybody else?, sorry the only other thing a can think of is a badly scratched disc that can't be read or bad quality media.
