backing up dvds

    hey guys i am knew at this i am having a problem i have a plextor px712A and i am using nero 6.3.1.20
    also using dvd decrypter and dvd shrink both updated.
    well everything works until it goes to burn it gives me this error....

    also this too but i read that you need two drivers
    aspi32.sys and wnaspi

    Existing drivers:

    have you backed up any films yet which have been ok with the media you are presently using

    yes i did one only..

    now i am getting this error

    do you know what it could be

    I would get some other media still first as i still think it will be a media problem.I have opened up a spidle before myself and the first 2 or 3 have been ok and all after Dud.Even if it is not the media at least you have explored that possability.You do not want to start changing settings and things before you have tried what i call the basic's.By the look of the error report it looks like media to me.Try to burn anything else like a cd or something.If you still have the problem then we can try another root as no one at AD is left in the lerch myself and others will be glad to help you try out other possible causes.Another thing you can look at is burning a back up you had sucsess with again if it is the media it will fail.You may have 5 good ones in a pack of 25 or what ever.Worst i have ever had was 24 out of 25 was bad.
