We've got two networked machines at home and we've got CloneCD which I used to create an image of this game.

Want to load it into a Virtual Drive so that we can play a network game so got Daemon Tools. However, when loaded the image into the drive and started he game, get the error message:

    "Cannot locate the CD-ROM

CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game"

Wasn't a problem with CM 03/04 but I don't know what I did wrong. Had Alcohol120% then but never used CloneCD before. I selected to create image from copyrighted CD and it said you need the original, which I have.

    What have I done wrong?

I actually selected Read to Image, then Protected PC Game...

please help. any advice you could offer would be gratefully received. I hate playing on one machine cos the other person can always see who you're trying to bid for!!!

Clone cd probably blacklisted your game, try uninstalling Clone cd and see if that doesn't help.

Try using AL120% or Blindwrite5 to copy your game and either use AL120% virtual drives or daemon tools to mount the image to a virtual drive.

You also need to know the protection the game has. use aray scanner to find out.
