What is the best way to back up a large amount of mp3 files? Can they be saved on a dvd?

Mp3 files can be treated as a data file and written to a DVD. They will even play from the DVD on a PC, but not neccessarily in a standalone DVD player (many support MP3 only on CD-R/RW).
You can use Nero or similar programs to make a data DVD. Select your Mp3 files and burn.

    That'll do it

Start up SonicDVD > Data > Data Disk
Then drag and drop your files across to Sonic
