I am a bit confused. Maybe someone can answer my question. I have a Duo2SE Chip, and have been able to successfully backup and run my PS2 games. I understand that GT4 cannot be backed up as yet.
But what about other newer games, like mercenaries, for example.
Some posts say you need to patch it, others say use isobuster and cddvgen, and others say it can be backed up with DVDDecrypter alone just like the way I have been doing.
Is it the case that with swap magic you need to patch and/or use isobuster and cddvgen?
And if you have a mod chip, you should just be able to rip to iso, and then write iso woth DVDDecrypter?
Hopefully someone can answer my question.

yes thats right with a mod chip

    games can just be backed-up

    as normal

    but with swap magic

sum games need a specail procedure to make them run

E.G adding patches, rebuilding iso's etc.

but if like me u have a mod chip

ya wont need to do it.

    hope this helps
