    Hi,

I've been backing up tons of family activities tapes on DVD using my Digital camcorder as a transfer medium. The softwares I use are ScLive, TMPGenc and Nero.

I'd now like to backup my daughter's store-bought tapes also to DVD. The problem is, I keep getting error like "Can't copy copyright material."

Does anyone know how to do it without having to buy the Macrovision remover device? Thank you very much in advance.

    TT

If you are Captureing through your DV Camcorder then there is no way to defeat the Macrovision Copy Protection unless you have a Video Stabilizer or some other Device to remove the Copy protection ,There is Just no way arround it...I have seen Video stabilizers for as Low as $20 on e-bay ...good Luck
