How do I back up my programs and drivers of my hard drive to install on my pc after a fresh installation of windows Xp. Is their a way that all my programs automatically install again.

You can create another partition for a drive image and I would think this is the easiest method. Another is copying your files/programs to a dvd and installing them after you have installed your OS which IMHO is a slow process.

    singler3,

On my last system I had windows 98 and upgraded to XP Pro. The only thing I had to worry about was a few programs like Nero, two graphics programs and stuff like my pop-up stopper that didn't work quite right after the upgrade. I already had the discs and in a couple of hours I was back in business. All system "drivers" and such came along as passengers, I wouldn't worry about it. (I did lose some porn which didn't fare that well but - Ooohh well -)
