I just want to know if there is an encryption code burned onto my 1st backup? coz i tried to burn a backup of a backup with nero6, alcohol 120, recordnow max, clonedvd, and DVD Decrypter with all kinds of method (on the fly, iso etc.)and all failed. does this happen to any one? please help me
Ummmmm ... NO I don't think your problem is encryption. My guess is your using poor quality media. Nero's disc copy feature can copy a backup ... if you use quality media to start. Your source disc must be able to be read/ripped. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Dell 8250, Pentium 4 2.80GHz 1.5 GB RDRAM, 450GB HD NEC 2510A, Sony DDU-1612 DVD-ROM XP Pro, ATI All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro[/small]
Sounds like the source disc is bad if it always stops at 92%. Have you done a scan for read errors on the source disc? Try DVD Info Pro or Nero CD/DVD Speed. _X_X_X_X_X_[small] "And there we saw the giants...And we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight." this isn't just happen to one dvd, I got some other movies and games backed up play fine to the end but just cant rip that backup to hhd, all media i am using are RiData -R. Also on all the software i mentioned above, i selected ignore read error option.
how do you do the scan with nero cd-dvd speed? i tried extras->advance dae quality test->error test->create immage/run test. both pop up an error saying "no test disc inserted" in which i have the source disc sitting in the drive
yes I got an "unrecovered read error" does it means i got a bad source data? but how come it still can load up and play? thanks for helping. you guys are Rocks
Think of it this way. If you read me a sentence, but left out a few words here and there, I could still get the gist of what you were talking about. Because not ALL of the words were necessary. But if you asked me to write it down, Exactly as you had it, I would copy the errors as well, and would need every single word for the sentence. Although this doesnt explain why the source disc *seems* fine, it will help understand the problem. Which is, a reader can continue through a "null" , that is 'I can still listen while you miss a word' While a writer can refuse (unless specifically told to) to write null or bad data. 'I refuse to write a sentence with a word missing.' This (incredibly simplified, no offence) is the reason why the source disc "seems" fine. It may not be, it may be just that 1 frame of video data is bad, and hence can easily be missed while watching it. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]-- It's Just My Opinion --[/small]
thankyou for your detail explaination, 1 last question. how do you set the software to blind rip and blind write with nero, alcohol 120 or record now max?
