Get 3 programs and follow these 3 simple steps.

    DVD DECRYPTER
Open DVD Decrypter and select Mode, File then below select the destination where you want to write the files.
Select Edit and then Select All
Your right to rip so select the DVD - Hard Disk at the bottom and sit around for an hour

    DVD2ONE
Open it and select Next to except the default settings
Select source where the ripped files are
Select destination and create a new folder to write it to e.g dvd-compressed
    Copy Mode Select Full Disk
    Compression Mode Select Variable Ratio
Your right to compress Select Next

    NERO 6
    Open NeroSmartStart
Select DVD Mode, Photo and Video, Make DVD Video
    Double click Video_TS
Select Add then map to the compress folder you created e.g dvd compressed
The Select all the files then add.
You should have all those video files in the VIDEO_TS
Select Next then drop the speed to the slowest and rip away

    Your Done

    Very good.

But you should say DVD-9 To DVD-R as for DVD-5 discs the only tool you need is DVD Decrypter.

Of course you could get just one programme instead of two to do the same thing - DVD Shrink.
