Why didn't you just copy the contents of the dvd onto your xbox hard drive by using dvd2xbox or some software like that? That way it just loads the entire thing to your hard drive. Maybe you didn't copy some files from the game folder when you transferred it onto your xbox.

Does this game work fine when burned? If so, I'll just do that instead of using it off the hard drive.

Burning didn't work. It doesn't even start the game. It freezes in EvoX.

I also tried loading sc3.xbe instead of default.xbe, but it locks up at the first loading screen.

I deleted VideosPAL and the foreign language sounds, and patched the xbe files using Quix. Works like a charm off the hard drive. Haven't tried burning it yet.

I burned it just like I explained at the beginning of this thread, and still works. I have no problems.

I burned it a few days ago after I patched using Quix. I worked fine. When I patched the xbe files with Craxion, it didn't work on the Xbox.

Dvd2xbox worked for me. Plays fine on Xbox hd. Gonna try to pull it from Xbox and make a disc. Cross me fingers!

You have to extract the iso with Craxtion or some other xiso creation/extraction utility. http://www.craxtion.com/
    .NET Framework is required.

Mine didn't work. I erased the "video" files (I have pal) and the dashupdate.xbe, update.xbe... the game doesn't boot. I also tried to burn it in a d/l disk but didn't work either. I may transffer the game in my xbox, and keep deleting files from the video and the language folders until I get a working copy in the needed size...
