    Hi!
I recently bought my self a harddisk and HD loader for my PS2. I have formatted the disk, but when I try yo install a backup, it says that "no PS2 cd or dvd is detected", and will not allow the game to be installed.
Is there a built in protection in HD Loader so that backups cant be used? If so, is there a way to go around this??

To answer your next logical question harley79, download WinHIIP. Put the drive in your PC and WinHIIP can format it and backup from discs. Then put it in your PS2 and boot HDLoader.
