I have been backing up DVD's for sometime however i have recently got a new PC and use a LITEON 1632 DVD RW When backing up films using decrypter I am having problems with the film constantly freezing during playback.
I use Verbatin 8x certified discs I leave the write speed at max and this somethimes goes up to 12x during the write process, is this too fast for DVD's?
The write speed is the only thing i can think is different to the set up i've had before.
Does anyone have any ideas please!

Slowing your burn speed in this instance may be of help.
If you were having no problems at 12x then yes that speed is ok, but I would slow it to 4x and see then if it fixes your issues.
