Is it better to play a backup off of a desk or off the hard drive?.
Is one way worse on thePC than another?
Will one way to give me better performance?

    Thanks

The CD drive might burn out in 10 years..... But it is better to have a No-CD crack if you want to free up your CD-Drive. I'm pretty sure you would only notice performance problems if you had a slow read speed on you CD-ROM.
