backups wont even boot

    all i get is the configuration screen and the ps2 making weird scratching noises

    i use decrypter to burn dvd's (iso -> write @ 1x speed) but when i put them in my ps2 they don't boot. my ps2 is modded.

    okkk if you are using a fliptop/slidecard are you following the directions properly.

    no i have an actual mod chip installed.

    Maybe try and use a special boot, thing with your chip.

    Use a different burning program.

    Try different media, eg TDK, Ritek.

    Try burning a different game.
