I'm using the Xeno chip and whenever I try to play a PAL game I get banding. Every other game is fine, just not the PAL versions. Any ideas or just not possible on Xeno?

Try holding either Y or X on boot. I don't remember which one does which, but it's supposed to force the video mode to a specific region. One forces NTSC, while the other forces PAL. If you have a version 2 XenoGC it may work just fine. It didn't work for me when I tried it on my younger brother's GC with the original XenoGC chip though.

I think its hold X for PAL forcing and Y for NTSC forcing, correct me if i'm wrong.

Apparently I only have v1 of the Xeno chip even though I bought it a month ago. Old stock I guess.

On my old PAL gamecube, that wouldn't play NTSC games but would play PAL, even if i forced regions, but that wasn't with a xeno, i think though it was because i used unbranded DVD-R and didn't change the POT till a later date.

Yeah some of the ISOs I have are PAL and can't manage to find "backups" of NTSC.
