My computer is getting pretty outdated and cant run any games i wanna play and other programs w/o freezin up...... Its a Pentium 3, 1.00 GHZ and has 384 mb RAM

    Im thinking of getting this
    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2240951&Sku=V133-6814
and swapping things from this current PC to that one

My question is what would i need to add on to that Kit to make it a fully functional PC? Does it need a HDD, network adapter, ect?
Could i just swap em from this PC to that one?

You would need a hard-drive and an optical drive. Both of those could be swapped out of your old computer.

As a side note though, I don't know what kind of games you're planning on playing... but that Sempron is not going to do much for you. Neither will the Nvidia 6100 that this barebone system comes with.

not a hardcore gamer, just want to play newer games like new call of duty, and other war games like that, i probably wont be playing online.
I just want something cheap but effective, Would it just be cheaper for me to buy a new processor and video card and swap it to my current computer?

If thats possible and cheaper would i need anything else other than the Processor and Gfx card to play games smoothly, or would i need to upgrade anything else.

    Thanks for the help!

I would wait for a few more replies, the above is just my opinion.

But it seems as though it will do the job...;)
