I use Shrink to rip my dvds & usually rip ISO then burn with Nero 6. I hear alot of people on here that rip as VOB. What is the differance or differance of the 2??

    Hi Nututhis
I normally use DVD Shrink to shrink the movie and save as a ISO file. Then use DVD Decrypter to burn. The ISO file has the same information inside it as the VOB files. I find the advantage of using the ISO files is its ability to reduce the human error factor in the setting up the burn. In ISO all you need is to point to the file and burn. With VOB files you need to make sure all the files along with the correct file folders TS Video and TS Audio. There is more room for error here than with the ISO file. That is not to say ISO is foolproof but success breeds confidence.
    I hope this helps
