Best Box For Galway N*L MMDS

I done the restore and ran the scan between 250 and 402 at 6887 and I can't get any channels at all now. When It finishes scanning and I click Update channels it says no transponder to scan

 

Your box must be connected directly to the TV output side of the power inserter and the power plug for the power inserter must be plugged in.
The small black box is the power inserter for the aerial.
If your cable feed comes from a central mmds mast connect the eurovox directly to the feed without any splitters.

 

Hi Mgb17 thanks for all your help so far. I was reading through some other threads and came across this one: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/5/569208. I followed what karl jd was saying and managed to get a lot more channels. Not all the frequencies worked for me but the ones that did were: 250, 298, 314, 346, 363 & 378 - These show up at 97% when doing a full scan on both level and quality.


When I'm running a full scan I can see both the Level and Quality up at 80% for the following frequencies: 266, 274, 282, 290, 306, 322, 330, 354, 370, 378 & 386. When I try to add these manually they only show up as being around 20% and don't find any channels then.

The only main channels that i'm missing i'd like really is all the sky movies channels as I have the sky sports channels now and setanta. If you have any idea how'd I'd go about getting the movies. The two cables that are coming out of that power inserter are going into my eurovox

 

The valid frequencies for Galway ntl mmds are:
250
266
282
298
314
330
346
362
378

Btw if you got a mmds aerial one side of the power inserter is connected to the aerial and the other side to the box.

 

All sorted Now got all the movie channels just had to keep trying it a few times. Thanks a million mgb17. I really apprecaite all your help and patience with a newbie. Looks like I can reduce my €80 a month bill down to €25.99 happy days. Thanks also to Celtic71 and Sc0user who offered support. Great forum guys keep up the good work

One quick question. Is there a version of Eurovox thats due to come out that will record your programs like the sk* + box? Or is there another one out there for Galway MMDS that does that and is it difficult to set up?

hiya can any1 help me ive got starview the box and so has my mate nxt door he did somethin the other night n we got most bak on but he isnt getting all the chanels bak ie all sky movie chanels could any1 help plz
