Best burn speed for sony DVD-R?

    what is the best burn speed for this disk?

    that is what i use right now and haven't had any problem at 4x - 16x.. all worked great for me.

    Is going lower than that better? or is it worse. I just want to make it a 100 percent good burn.

    I never go over 4 with my Sony's and have never had a bad burn at 4. Over 4 I had problems. The time savings over 4 isn't significant anyway. At 4 it only takes about 12 minutes. Unless you are copying large quantities, I wouldn't bother burning any faster.

    Basically the lower the speed, the better the disc will turn out!

    I use only Sony DVD's and I burn at full speed everytime with no issues. Of course on my burner full speed is only 8x
