best capture software??

    Hi, can someone recommend the best capture freeware software??

    Well it depends on what format you want to capture to and what Capture device you have....

    There are programs Like "Virtual-VCR" or "Virtual-Dub" and there is "Stoik Capturer" and others you can try....

    From what I know of the Dazzle DVC 150 it only works with the Software that Comes with the Device which I think is called something "Pinnacle Studio QuickStart" or the older version came with "Movie Star 5" ...
    Since it is a Hardware Mpeg2 encoder it has to use Proprietary Software made specificly for captureing from this specific Capture device....

    This is one of the Biggest problems with hardware Mpeg2 encoders cuz if you don"t like the software that comes with it you are basicly stuck with it....
