    Hi there everybody,

It turns out i have a DVD+R burner. I found out to my cost when i purchased 25 DVD-R's and none of them worked. Anyway, what do we all recommend as the best value for money blank DVD+R's on the market? I have been using Memorex 4.7Gb 4X but i think i can do better. Thanks in advance,

    GMD

It all depends on what suits your burner.I would tend to agree with oneacer as Ritek are good for me.I also agree with yourself you can do alot better than memorex.Personally if i was you and i could afford i would purchase a multi format writer as long term you will save yourself money. You will then be able to use the minus media which offers you a wider choice of media and prices and is more compatible with stand alone dvd players.

Could one of the mods please move this to the correct forum so Gmd will get maximum response from all them who love to talk media most at the media forum.
    Much appreciated in advance

Memorex is a gamble; the first spindle of DVD+Rs that I ever bought was Memorex and I got 100% good burns. Now that I have DVDinfopro I have discovered that I lucked out and got a spindle of memorex that were ricohjpn media. If the store has a good return policy and the memorex are really cheap, it might be worth buying a spindle and checking the id. You might get lucky.

... Go to the link that Mort81 provided for you ... RiDATA branded Ritek discs from NewEgg.com ... It just doesn't get any better than that combo ...
