    Hey,

Was just wondering whats the best EXTERNAL DVD writer for making PS2 backups. I can only use a external DVD writer that connects to USB2.0 as I have two computers and dont want to buy two DVD writers.

The DVD writer would have to be DVD-R/DVD+R and do dual layer DVDs.

Any help would be great as I dont want to buy a DVD writer that wont work.

    Thanks for your help.

    BF

Pioneer DVR-108. I'm getting one for christmas. It's dual layered, writes both +/- R. Internal and external ones can be found on www.pricewatch.com. Internals about $65 which you dont care about, and externals for about $105. I asked around here for awhile about which dvd writer to get because im getting a PS2 and tons of people said pioneer 108. I checked it out... looks great.

Sony are ment to be pretty good with DL burners, but I dont know how well they work at burning PS2 games.
