Hi Ive got a Xbox 360 with 7371.0 Dash . I was thinking about hacking it , to enable to play back up games . The Xbox has A Hitachi Drive also hackable

I see theres a two different methods , J- Tag and Drive Flashing . I have several questions regarding these hacking methods :

    1. So Can I J-tag this Console , how do I check if its compatible ? I know I have the compatible firmware , though what other compatibility issues are there?

    2. With either Hack , will I be able play backups off a HDD ?

    3. Does either hack allow online multiplayer gaming ?

I'm pretty confident with a soldering iron and like a challenge . Though on the other hand the flashing method looks easier

no brainer my friend, jtag all the way,you wont be able to play on live with a jtag,if you flash your drive your in danger of getting banned, jtag you can use any size harddrive to play all your games, and there are lots of homebrew games you can play, just a flashed console all you can do is play discs,

Ok so is it worth buying a device like the Xecuter NAND-X and JTAG Connection Kit or shall I make a more traditional one using the DB25 cable .

I beleive the making a home -made J-tag will be more cost effective . I would like to save the £30 ( the cost of the pre-made Jtag Kit) and make my own ( the traditional method )

However is it hard to do ? I've only had a couple of hours soldering experience , though i like the challenge

the jtag kit you leave on the board but the nand-x is always reuseable, for what it costs to buy the kits, for beginners, this is worth it,

I have since purchased and installed the JTAG and Flashed the NAND using the NAnd X kit . I used the Collshrimp J-tag tool , everything worked fine .

So with the J-tag installed - Now I just want to play my Back up ISO files , how do you play back up games?

I've got a fight Night ISO on my Laptop , how do I get it to work with my J-tag console?

Do you need another back up program ?

If I remember right, Xbox Backup Creator will let you explore the ISO and save the files in a folder. Put that folder inside the "games" folder so the JTAG will find it.
