I would just like to know what kind of media you guys use to back up your PS2 dvd games. It's an obvious given that DVD-R work best for older versions that cant read DVD+R.

But what kind of blank dvd brands do you guys use and what kind brands have you had problems with??? As well please tell the colour of the bottom of the DVD.

memorex dvd-r's and cdrs...only messed up one dvd but i forgot i was burning and started opening a buncha stuff and it screwed up...

other than that.. all perfect i use record now max to create the images of the dvds and then use record now max to burn the images... it makes GI global images

if you ever get an iso or bin cue game.. use alcohol 120...

those are the only two programs you'll ever need to bakup ps2 games....

i don't know what princo they were, had silver tops (no writing). They didn't work at all for ps2 games, and for movies, they skipped and became unreadable about 3/4 of the way through.

If your going to use Princo Discs, get one of the following White Label 4X or Datawrite Yellow 4X, both are A Grade discs. For a little extra just get Ritek Disc, even the Over Prints for sale at the moment are great.. £17.50 for 25 and are 4X as well
