i am new to the boards and i am interested in purchasing a mod chip

i have been thinking about the neo 2.2 chip because i read that it will play all back ups and i also found it at a good price of $20 and it includes the wires and socket i need

    what are your thoughts

If you don't mind soldering or know someone who can do it for you, I'm plannin to get the DMS4 Lite. I love the fact that you direct boot any type of disc without having anything else like Swap magic or anything. You said your PS2 is v4 right? Before you get a chip make sure your PS2 can play a DVD+-R or RW disc. If it CAN'T then don't bother getting the chip wouldn't do you much good. If it can read a burnt DVD/CD then go for it.

    Get the DMS4 Pro

Its expensive and, OK, well not that hard to install.

Its the best one around with the best features available.

    i reccomend you get that
