Best modchip for playing online w/ HDD?

    Wich modchip is compatible when playing online (with legit games) and supports the Harddrive? Matrix or DMS3?

    as long as you can turn the chip off, any one will work.

    I read a post about someones modded PS2 (DMS3 chip, he said) not being able to read backup games after installing the HDD. Is this fixable with a downloadable upgrade? I also remember reading on here that the Matrix isn't compatible with the HDD as of right now.

    like sly_61019 said all you have to do is turn off your chip and the ps2 will be able to read your discs perfectly with the hdd

    Soooo... You're saying that PS2 modchips arent compatable with the Harddrive?

    yea you cant use a modchip and hd at the same time

    Im pretty sure with the latest upgrade for the DMS3 you can support the HDD. DMS3 even has a HDD explorer for browsing the HDD.
