Hello everyone...I was wondering If someone could recommend a program than would minimize or eliminate digital artifacts, grain etc when doing DVD back-ups.
At present I am useing DVDXCopy Original. Is this as good as It gets or is there a better program that would be suited for big screen tv's or projectors??
I do not mind If I have to use two DVD-R's for the back-up.
    Thanks In advance.

are you getting artifacts with xcopy. If you are I would check to see that you have the latest verstions. The version of xcopy that you are using performs an uncompressed backup that is supposed to be faithful to the original. You can ask this at the xcopy forum:

With regard to other programs, check out oriphus' guides. He had a 60" screen and he compresses and say he does not get artifacts. I think he uses a combination of shrink, dvd2one, and recordnow to get the optimum results with compression to one dvd.
