Can you remove any audio tracks or subtitles...reauthor, removing the menus and special features?

DVD Shrink is the way to go, or Nero Recode will do it a little faster if you have it....with little or no loss of quality, you can always use the AEC contols and Deep Analysis with DVD Shrink to achieve the highest possible quality.
