I use DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor. Are there any better programs that compress movies better? I tried using Clone DVD 2.0 clonedvd.net and something didn't work. It burns successfully, but the dvd player doesn't read it and neither does my computer. Thanks for any input.

Not really, most of the apps out there are pretty much equal in quality these days. It's more of which one you feel comfortable with. That said, InstantCopy 8 might edge out most, a wee bit, in video quality. A trial version is available.

You will get much better results if you use a re encoder (CCE, Mainconcept etc) rather than a transcoder
    (Shrink, DVD2one, Clone, Nero, Instantcopyetc)
