BGA Board

    DOes anyone know how to install the BGA board on v7 of magic 3.5?

    Yes.

    First, make sure you have a perfect diagram. Try this one: http://www.ps2xmods.com/magic3/v7/v7install.jpg
    Also use www.modchip.ca diagrams

    Next, take some scotch tape and fastent the BGA tightly to the bord.

    Lastly, with super small amounts of solder, maybe even put some flux first, carefully apply the solder to these points.

    Do not let any points touch.
    Make sure you have the BGA facing the right direction.

    If you don't know what Flux is, I'm sure you do, but, apply the flux to the board with a toothpic. It will help the solder stick properly to the points your trying to connect.

    I haven't had to use flux yet. I have other tricks that seem to work well. But, many swear by the use of flux.
