Yo! I've got a Xbox with the Akira-chip and a 160gb large HDD. I connected the box with my PC and used ftp to transfer files and stuff, it worked OK. BUT I was stupid enough to important files to the Evox dashboard I think cuz now the box won't start. It just says "Service requiered" and shows the nr. 13 in the upper left corner. I burned the Slayer's Evox 2.7 to a TDK-dvd but the Xbox won't boot from the DVD. What to do? Please help me, I'll would be very grateful! Cheers!
Slayers was obviously burned wrong! Do you know how to burn iso files? My HDD upgrade tutorial will show you the procedure! If you have a chip and the DVD is burnt correctly it WILL boot, no questions asked! Also try AID v4.10
I can't find how to do in your tutorial but I burned the ISO (just the ISO) file right on a Verbatim disc in speed 2x with Deepburner.
