i extracted my mpgegs form my bin files. Now i want to put the two together on a dvd. I tried virtual dub but it doesnt seem to work for me . do you have any tips
from my experience, the only app' that will take extracted files from bin images is nero vision express
hi there all hows it hursty! ok aswell as divxtodvd you can use tmpgenc plus (but you need to correct the headers!) and it will make a dvd compliant mpeg2 (use a pal or ntcs template) i use vcdeasy to convert headers also mainconcept will just take the bin file mpeg and convert to dvd compliant mpeg to! (good quality) also after being dvd complaint you can load to tmpgenc dvd author to make dvd files and burn.. (make menus too)
I have 2 mpegs that have been extracted from bins, after you've converted the two mpeg files with divxtodvd how do you join them? You have .vob files, and .ifo files. Do you just load them into nero? or do you use another program to join?
eh?? you should have loaded them on top of each other(the avi's into dvixtodvd),they would have been merged together dvixtodvd can hold 3 lots of separate avi's files in one go the result would have been, you having a video ts folder, which you burn to dvd
OK, didn't realise that. So in the source file box I just choose part1, and then part 2 and begin the convert process? Is there any other program I can use to burn apart from nero? I find nero takes a long time.
excellent recommend Hursty, I will be deleting nero forthwith. CloneDvd is much quicker and easier. Can use the dvd in my player now. I have I more question though. I must have done something wrong in the seqence when creating the files, because the picture is coming out on the TV very small, like a small box in the middle of the screen, and it seems like the edges have been squashed together distorting the picture a bit. Any ideas where I went wrong? F.Y.I - I'm in the UK so I am on PAL.
what can I do if the audio is slightly out of sync in the converted file. It starts off ok, but gets about an hour into it and the audio starts to get more and more out of sync, till there is probably about a half second to a second delay.
