Does anyone know of a master password for Dell pentium 4 laptops in cases where a BIOS password has been set by a user but password is lost or forgotten? I know there are alot of talented folks in this forum and hoped one of the experts here can help me :)
    Thanks

The only thing I can think of is taking out the CMOS battery. I do not know if you will even be able to access anything on the motherboard other than the ram slots, but it works for desktops. If you can access the motherboard take out the little nickel sized battery for battery and wait for an hour. Then put it back in and turn the laptop on. This resets the saved settings and erases the passord. Hope this helps!!
