Try using a System Restore point that predates the problem.

    In Windows 7:
Click 'Start' and type: system restore

I would have done that but the story goes...... I had previously had the software installed and was working fine, then one day i was having problems loading files. I'd click on a word, excel etc file and it wouldn't work. I had to load the program then import the file i wanted to open. I un-installed the Office 2010 the re-installed it, since then i've been having this problem.

I.m not sure if a restore would fix that?
