Are there any Blu-Ray compliant A/V Receiver which support many mandatory BD audio formats(like MLP Lossless or DTS HD...) and BD video resolutions on the market?
Is it worth waiting for such devices or would today's receivers do the job?

Receivers that decode DTS-ES or DTS-96/24 sound tracks are compatible with DTS-HD.

As for Dolby. I don't think you mean MLP but Dolby True HD which uses an expanded version of MLP. MLP is curently used for DVD-Audio music (not DVD-Video).

HDMI supports it so the only thing needed would be a receiver that can decode the signal via HDMI.

I only sell one receiver under $1000 that can do that. It complies with HDMI spec 1.1 that supports DTS-96/24, Dolby Lossless (MLP) and HDCP.
