I use WinMX with a 56K modem and as a result I like to keep the number of concurrent downloads down to two or three. A limit of two works fine but any more than that and the limit doesn’t work at all. If I set it to three, which is often the number I’d want, they just keep on starting with no upper limit that I can see. Silly with a 56K connection. Anybody have the same problem or any ideas as to what is causing it? I can leave it set to two as that’s fine most of the time but sometimes to maximise the download three or, very rarely, even four would be better.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry. I don't know what happened to the post title. It was supposed to be 'WinMX problem'. I can't see a way to edit the title.

Rubbish. Back to the drawing board. Can I put a table or use tabs in my post?
