I just installed xp pro on my home computer, I upgraded from xp home. After it came on and was running I shut it down. After it shut down it says verifying dmi pool data....
boot from atapi cd-rom: bootable cd does not exist...
disk boot failre, insert system disk and press enter.

So I inserted the xp install disk again. It went into xp and I thought it would fix itself, but it did not.

I have to insert the install disk every time to get xp to come on.

Anyone know how to correct this. Do I need to copy an autoexec.bat file into the system somehow.
