    Hi All,

I have PS2 Slim model. My question is, is there a way to have my PS2 boot from my memory card as oppose to booting from Swap Magic DVD when playing backup PS2 games? It is so inconvenient to swap out DVDs.

    Thanks

No, Sony changed it on the V12 PStwos so that you cant do the Independance Mem card mod. You could still put a mod chip in your PS2 and get around the swaping that way, but otherwise no.

One thing you still can do is use the swap magic disks to boot to your memory card. It's only useful if you're going to put ELF files on your MC.

You make a bootable CD with lets say keylauncher on it 0.5.2 should work fine

also place all the elf files you want to pop on your MC on the CD then swap in the disc with leylauncher, then goto file explorer then select the elf files you wish to copy to your memcard
