    Hi,

I have tried to play two different rented "Bourne Identity" DVDs on my XBox. Neither disk was recognised. Has anyone else had the same problem?

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Thanks for the response, but I'm not trying to play a copied version or make a copy, I just want to view a rented copy of the film.

I have hired the film from several different places, all with the same result..disk not recognised. It's driving me nuts...any ideas?

    Tks,

    Mike.

I've had exactly the same problem. Tried it with 2 copies - both from Blockbusters - not recognised. Don't know if its the same with retail copies, or non region 2 copies. Any help gratefully received.

Well, I contacted XBox UK help. They are aware of the problem playing some of the latest format DVDs and there is (they say) a patch coming out in the next couple of weeks.

My guess is the sloppy buggers will keep us waiting a couple of months.

I hope you have a dvd dongle kit, or a dvdx installed into your xbox. Those are the only ways to play a dvd, of course there is also xbmp.
