try add these frequencies in manually and see you can get any channels

    274.000
    282.000
    290.000
    298.000
    306.000
    314.000
    322.000
    347.000
    339.000
    355.000
    363.000
    371.000
    378.000
    378.000
    386.000
    394.000
    410.000
    426.000
    444.000

In the installation menu select MANUAL SCAN and set that as the frequencies above
Scroll down to Network scan and change to ENABLE with the Right arrow.
    While still highlighted, click OK.

Yes Im sure you have to choose a provider to do a scan to get channels

    6875 = symbol rate

    Provider ID = 5E 01

If you do a manual scan , Menu > Installation and you should see the Symbol Rate option there

    Eamo's FTA Library http://eko.4shared.com/

Once you have installed the software from the above link you will have access to a secret menu. Type 1570 at installation menu and it will give you access to a secret menu. Turn on EMU and then do a full scan again. Save and reboot and then you should have access to all channels.

Note: This only works with Chorus MMDS. Are you sure you are MMDS. it will say it on your bill

You might be in troube there. Was told the box was for Chorus MMDS only. I have chorus MMDS and it worked once I got access the the 1570 menu.
Not sure what else to suggest. Maybe you could get access to someone with MMDS and confirm that it works. In that case you will have no problem getting rid of the box.

Just got confirmed from a reliable source that it should work with Chorus MDS.

Are you sure you are mds/mmds and not cable.

Do you have an mds/mmds aerial on the roof?

hi yes i have aerial on the roof but 2 people asked me if i have a power inserter behind the telly that i plug in but i never had one of those
i have a small silver box but i think that is just a signal booster the aerial comes into the house screws to it and carries on into the box
